2 days new l bend, oregon newborn photographer

I LOVE going to the hospital and doing sessions with these wee little ones when they are just newly born.  I think it’s because hospital sessions are so different from the actual newborn session that we do where we make sure that everything is perfect…lighting, poses, etc.  At these hospital sessions, my goal is to just capture the moment.  I want the baby to look completely new…whether it’s the cone shaped head, crossed eyes, or pealy skin.  I love seeing Mom in her hospital gown or pjs and Dad looking like he could use another 20 hours of sleep.  I love the love that is always so present in the room, and the way Mom and Dad look at their new little miracle.

And let me tell you, there was no lack of love in this hospital room!  Welcome to the world, Baby Bronson!

I keep looking at it over and over again! Wonderful job!

Couldn’t get enough of ‘em…

I just couldn’t get enough of this beautiful little family, so we did two sessions!  I made my way out to the “B” Family’s Sisters property early that morning so we could shoot getting the beautiful Central Oregon mountains in the background.  I then went out again that evening so we could have that amazing evening light, their grass field, and gorgeous pond as our setting!  Their little man was a tough one to crack, but I think we got a few smiles from him!  Thanks, B Family for a wonderful day…I fell in love with your amazing family!

Just love this next one of mommy!  Couldn’t resist throwing it in the mix…

Mom and Dad were so cute!  After I took these shots, Dad said, “You don’t want to know what I told her to make her laugh like that!”  Nope, I really don’t want to know!!:)

Grandma and Grandpa were visiting all of the way from the Ukraine.  I couldn’t understand a word they said, and all they knew to tell me was “Nice to meet you,” but they had hearts of gold!  They carried all of my props all over God’s creation that day…including that green couch!  What saints they were!

great idea! can’t wait to see it.

sleepy head

Oh how I adore sleepy heads when it comes to taking newborn pictures!  And Mr. Blake was definitley that!  When I got the call to photograph him and learned that he was already a month old, I definitely had my doubts that I would get him to sleep at all.  I even had to tell Mom that most likey we wouldn’t be able to get any sleeping pics with his clothes off, but low and behold, I think he was my sleepiest newborn to date!  He slept the ENTIRE time, well, until the very last picture!  He didn’t have to eat, only pooped once (on dad:)), and was just a perfect gentleman!  Not to mention that his parents and proud grandma were oh so fun to hang out with!  Can’t wait to see you guys at the pool this summer!

Enjoy this little bundle of babe…

Love, love, love these next 2 photos…I would definitley have one of these in a 30×40 canvas hanging about the couch he’s sleeping on!

And these ones with dad…ahhhhh…definitley some of my fav newborn pics I’ve ever taken!

Gotta love the classic black and whites in Daddy’s arms!

They had this awesome white, shag rug looking ottoman that we just had to use!  We were just praying that he wouldn’t decide to choose that moment to spew yellow poo all over it!:)  How on earth would you wash a white, shaggy ottoman?  Good thing we didn’t have to!

Grandma, who was visiting from Illinois, told me that she just loves it when he holds onto her finger…well, then of course we had to get a picture of it!

My fav…Daddy’s hand

And of course, since Daddy is a pilot!
